Apple plans to unveil over 20 new devices in 2026, including a foldable iPhone and an advanced smart home hub.
Apple is set to unveil more than 20 new devices in 2026. Alongside refreshed versions of the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, the company is preparing to expand its lineup with products like a foldable iPhone, a smart home hub, and a budget-friendly MacBook.
iPhone 17e will be one of the first models released by mid-2026. As an enhanced version of the iPhone 16e, it will include the A19 chip, MagSafe support, and Dynamic Island. The iPad Air will shift from the M3 to the M4 chip, while the standard iPad will upgrade from the A16 to either the A18 or A19 chip.
The MacBook Pro line will adopt M5 Pro and M5 Max processors, featuring quicker PCIe 5.0 SSDs. The MacBook Air will use the M5 chip, and Apple also plans to introduce a new lower-cost MacBook equipped with an A18 Pro chip, a 12.9-inch display, and a selection of colorful designs.
Upgrades continue with Mac Studio moving to M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips. The Studio Display will receive major technology improvements, including Mini-LED backlighting, 120Hz ProMotion refresh, HDR support, and integration of an A19 or A19 Pro chip.
Apple’s upcoming smart home hub will integrate a customized Siri interface. Built with a 6 to 7-inch square display, it will include the A18 chip to support Apple Intelligence, FaceTime, and other functions. The device can be positioned on flat surfaces or mounted on walls. Alongside this, Apple will launch its own HomeKit-compatible security camera designed to work seamlessly with the hub.
iPhone 18 Pro models are anticipated between September and December. These devices will feature the A20 Pro chip, a narrower Dynamic Island, an updated Camera Control system, variable aperture for at least one rear lens, satellite-based web access, and Apple’s C2 5G modem. The iPhone 18 Pro Max will share the same hardware but may be slightly thicker.
The foldable iPhone is projected for release in the latter half of 2026. It will carry a 7.7-inch internal display, a design with almost no crease, a 5.3-inch outer screen, two rear cameras, a front camera, and a Touch ID-integrated power button replacing Face ID.
Apple Watch Series 12 will present a new processor, design modifications, and potentially Touch ID. Apple Watch Ultra 4 will include identical upgrades.
A completely redesigned MacBook Pro is expected at the end of 2026. It will come with M6 Pro and M6 Max processors, an OLED screen, touchscreen capability, Dynamic Island, a slimmer profile, and an integrated C2 modem for cellular connectivity. AirPods Pro 3 will feature an infrared camera designed for AI-powered functions.
The upcoming Apple TV model will run on the A17 Pro chip, include a personalized Siri system, and utilize the N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7. While future versions may feature a built-in FaceTime camera, it’s yet uncertain if this will debut in the next release.
The new HomePod mini will integrate an S9 or newer chip for personalized Siri, an N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7, superior audio performance, a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, and could come in colors such as red.
The next-generation AirTag will offer up to three times greater tracking range, a tamper-resistant speaker, and enhanced tracking capabilities.
Apple Glasses—augmented reality eyewear—will include speakers for audio, cameras for capturing content, voice control support, and potentially health-related tools, with a possible release in 2026 or later. The Face ID Doorbell will serve as a video doorbell combining Face ID and HomeKit Secure Video, wirelessly connecting to compatible smart locks.
The iPad mini will move from the A17 Pro to an A19 Pro or A20 Pro chip, gaining an OLED panel, vibration-based audio system, and water resistance. Finally, Apple plans to deliver a Mac mini featuring M5 and M5 Pro chips before the year concludes.
