The tech community is eagerly awaiting the launch of AMD’s new mid-range graphics card, RX 9060 XT, scheduled for release on June 5th. As excitement builds, several retailers have begun to leak listings of the graphics card prior to its official launch.
Currently, pre-launch listings suggest that the pricing for the RX 9060 XT models may exceed initial forecasts in both the US and UK markets. In the United States, retailers such as Central Computers have listed the ASRock RX 9060 XT Challenger model, equipped with 8GB of VRAM, at $319.99. Meanwhile, the 16GB version is being offered within the price range of $369.99 to $389.99, which is notably higher than AMD’s previous announcement of target prices set at $249 for the 8GB variant and $349 for the 16GB version.
In the UK, similar pricing trends are observed on platforms such as OverclockersUK. Here, the official prices for RX 9060 XT models, inclusive of VAT, vary between £270 and £360. The 8GB models from brands like Sapphire, PowerColor, and Gigabyte are priced between £269.99 and £289.99, whereas the 16GB versions range from £314.99 to £359.99.
It is important to note that these prices are not yet finalized. Once sales officially commence, there may be adjustments bringing the prices closer to the MSRP levels set by AMD.
For those unfamiliar, the RX 9060 XT is strategically positioned to directly compete with NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti models. The RX 9060 XT boasts impressive features, including 8GB and 16GB GDDR6 VRAM options, 32 RDNA 4 processing units, and a boost clock speed of 3.13GHz.
