At the IDC Türkiye Future Enterprise Awards 2025, which took place during the IDC Technology Symposium, Allianz Türkiye achieved a remarkable milestone by winning an award in the Digitally Enabled Ecosystem category. This recognition highlights the company’s consistent dedication to fostering digital transformation and open innovation within the insurance industry.
Since 2020, Allianz Türkiye has been running HackZone by Allianz in collaboration with Tenity. Recognized as the first sustainable open innovation initiative in the Turkish insurance sector, HackZone aims to inspire and empower startups and entrepreneurs to create game-changing solutions. The program not only nurtures innovation but also enriches the insurance ecosystem with new perspectives and technologies.
Fostering Entrepreneurial Collaboration and Growth
Through HackZone, a total of 26 startups have collaborated with the insurance industry for the first time. Many of these participants have successfully secured investment exceeding $15.5 million, proving the program’s significant contribution to the Turkish entrepreneurship environment. By providing mentorship, funding support, and access to Allianz’s APIs, the initiative helps these startups refine their products and accelerate their market growth.
Allianz Türkiye’s Vision for a Data-Driven Future
Fahri Kaan Toker, Deputy General Manager of Operations at Allianz Türkiye, emphasized that the organization’s digitalization journey began years ago with the vision of becoming a next-generation, data-driven company. According to Toker, Allianz Türkiye has achieved substantial progress in reshaping both its operational landscape and the broader insurance market. He described HackZone as a transformative turning point within this journey, driving collaboration and innovation at an unprecedented scale.
Expressing gratitude for the recognition received, Toker said that the IDC Future Enterprise Award represents not just success for Allianz Türkiye but also validation for the entire innovation ecosystem.
