Allianz Türkiye expands electric vehicle insurance cover
Allianz Türkiye added new protection to its Comprehensive Electric and Branded Electric motor insurance packages for electric vehicle owners.
New cover includes wall-mounted charging unit faults, damage caused during charging by stations or equipment, and multimedia screen breakage.
Existing protection already includes battery cover, portable charging equipment cover, cyber cover, and on-site mobile charging service for vehicles that run out of charge.
According to Batu Öncül, the insurance sector has an important role in supporting sustainable mobility and addressing new risks linked to battery systems, charging infrastructure, and connected technologies.
In partnership with Eşarj, eligible policyholders can receive 10 per cent Eşarj points on charges of 400 TL or more at Eşarj stations by using a code from the Allianz 365 app, subject to campaign terms and conditions.
