As Android 15 continues its rollout, Xiaomi is actively updating its End of Support (EOS) list, highlighting the devices that will no longer receive software updates. June 2025 marks a significant moment as several notable models reach their update expiry. Among the affected devices are popular models such as the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, which played a crucial role in Xiaomi’s lineup during their heyday.
Additionally, the Redmi K30 Ultra and the entire Redmi Note 9 series have been added to the EOS list. This means they will no longer receive updates for MIUI, Android, or security patches. Xiaomi typically offers up to 4 to 5 years of update support, after which devices are retired from the update cycle due to limitations in hardware capabilities and the need for software optimization.
