Westfield Specialty International Strengthens Reinsurance Division
Westfield Specialty International, a leader in providing tailored insurance solutions, has bolstered its reinsurance team by appointing Nate Field as Class Underwriter for casualty treaty reinsurance. Field will operate from the company’s London office, leveraging nearly 15 years of expertise in the insurance and reinsurance sectors.
Previously, Nate Field held the role of Senior Treaty Underwriter at the Bermuda-based reinsurance firm RenaissanceRe, where he honed his skills in underwriting and brokering.
Jeremy Shallow, the Chief Underwriting Officer at Westfield Specialty International, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment: “We have made substantial investments in acquiring new talent, as demonstrated by our recent hires across established teams and those in rapid development. Earlier this year, in March, the company reinforced its Professional Indemnity (PI) unit by appointing Pete Stephens as the new head of the department, complemented by the addition of Hattie Hassall as a Senior PI Underwriter in the London branch.
