Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Appoints New Global Head of Risk Engineering Services

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Welcomes Pantea Vaziri

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance division of the renowned reinsurance company Swiss Re, has announced the appointment of Pantea Vaziri as the new Global Head of Risk Engineering Services (RES). In this pivotal role, Vaziri will be instrumental in advancing Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ global RES capabilities. She will collaborate closely with her teams to deliver clients enhanced value that extends beyond traditional risk transfer.

Vaziri brings a wealth of experience in cyber analytics and catastrophe modeling. Her career was launched as a catastrophe modeller at Moody’s RMS, a leader in global catastrophe risk modeling and solutions. During her six-year tenure at Moody’s RMS, she held significant roles such as Lead Modeler and Senior Modeler.

Prior to joining Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, Vaziri held the position of Head of Data Transformation at Allianz Commercial, a segment of the global insurance powerhouse Allianz. Her nine-year journey with Allianz encompassed various key roles, including Head of Global Cyber Analytics, founding member of the regional Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council leadership, Head of Risk Management, North America, as well as an Expert CAT Risk Research Analyst and Senior Catastrophe Analyst.

Her expertise was further honed during her time as a Senior Risk Modeler at GeoVera Holdings, Inc., adding to her impressive credentials in the field of risk management and modeling.
