Penn Mutual Life Insurance has announced the promotion of Rick Klenk to the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective March 7. In this pivotal role, Klenk will spearhead the company’s financial strategy, overseeing its financial, risk, and product management divisions. Previously, Klenk held the position of CFO for life insurance and annuities at Penn Mutual, bringing over 35 years of expertise in risk management, actuarial services, and financial oversight.
His promotion comes at a time when the company is honing its focus on long-term financial stability and enhancing policyholder benefits. Klenk succeeds Dave Raszeja, a 22-year veteran of Penn Mutual, who will assist with the transition until June 30. Raszeja, who previously served as the company’s chief risk officer, took on the role of CFO in 2021.
Builders & Tradesmen’s Insurance Services, Inc. (BTIS), a subsidiary of Amynta Group, has promoted Jessica Keefe to Senior Vice President, Head of Operations. With over two decades of experience in compliance, operations, and strategic growth, Keefe has significantly contributed to BTIS’s expansion and operational excellence since joining the company in 2010.
Keefe’s tenure at BTIS has seen her in various leadership roles, including accounting operations manager, surety department program manager, senior manager, and vice president. Her proficiency in compliance and process optimization has been instrumental in navigating risk, integrating new business lines, and implementing industry best practices. In her elevated role, Keefe will manage all operational functions, focusing on workflow optimization, technological advancements, and team development.
