Explore SpaceX’s latest success as they achieve a new milestone with the Starlink satellite launch, enhancing global internet connectivity.

SpaceX, the aerospace pioneer led by Elon Musk, has achieved another significant milestone in its ambitious Starlink satellite internet project. The company successfully launched its 250th Starlink mission, deploying 23 additional broadband satellites into orbit using a Falcon 9 rocket from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

Innovative Direct-to-Cell Technology
Among the 23 satellites launched, 13 are equipped with cutting-edge technology that enables them to provide direct internet access to cell phones. This marks a promising step forward in enhancing global internet connectivity.
Seamless Falcon 9 Return
Following the launch on Monday morning, April 28, at 05:09 am Turkish time, the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket made a successful vertical landing on an autonomous platform in the Atlantic Ocean. Impressively, this particular booster has now completed 20 flights and landings, with 13 of those missions dedicated to Starlink satellite deployments.
Expanding the Starlink Network
SpaceX continues to bolster its Starlink mega-constellation with this mission, marking the company’s 48th Falcon 9 flight in 2025 and its 31st mission solely focused on expanding Starlink. The network now comprises over 7,200 operational satellites in orbit, steadily advancing towards its goal of providing global internet coverage.
