Samsung has launched the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, a robust smartphone tailored for businesses and frontline workers. This device is designed to withstand harsh conditions, featuring IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Its edges are reinforced with durable rubber, while the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Victus+. The phone adheres to MIL-STD-810H standards.
It includes two customizable buttons, the Top Key and the Cover Key, offering enhanced functionality. For security, it integrates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, facial recognition, and Samsung Knox Vault.
The handset boasts a 6.6-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced by Vision Booster for better visibility under direct sunlight. It also features “Touch Sensitivity,” allowing it to be used with gloves.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro supports various AI-driven features including Google’s Circle to Search, Object Eraser, AI Select, and Read Aloud. Its dual-camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, complemented by a 13MP front-facing camera.
The device’s 4350 mAh battery is user-replaceable and can be charged via USB Type-C 3.2 or POGO pins. Connectivity options encompass 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS.
The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, is set to hit the market on May 8, priced at 609 euros.
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro is engineered for maximum durability, mirroring the XCover 7 Pro’s IP68 certification. It can endure submersion in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters. Its robust design includes thick, rubberized edges for shock absorption, with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ safeguarding the screen.
This tablet features a 10.1-inch LCD display, offering WUXGA resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. At its core is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. Photography is supported by a 12 MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and LED flash, alongside an 8 MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The device is powered by a replaceable 10,100 mAh battery. Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple satellite navigation systems like GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS. It runs on Android 15-based One UI 7, supporting AI features such as Circle to Search, Object Eraser, AI Select, and Read Aloud.
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro is available in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, starting at 809 euros.
