Pine Walk Capital Limited, known for its expertise as a specialist MGA platform and operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of The Fidelis Partnership (TFP), has revealed plans to launch a new Accident & Health MGA. This expansion is spearheaded by Tim Morgan, a seasoned professional in the industry.
This new MGA is anticipated to commence operations later in 2025, pending regulatory approvals. Its goal is to engage a broad spectrum of global Accident & Health (A&H) business, further enhancing the diversification of TFP’s re/insurance portfolio.
With over two decades of experience in the A&H sector, Tim Morgan is well-equipped to lead this initiative. His most recent role was at Beazley, where he honed his skills and expertise in the field.
Rinku Patel, the CEO of Pine Walk, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to have an underwriter of Tim’s caliber to initiate a new Pine Walk cell. The A&H market is a significant segment, generating over $7 billion in annual premiums. The A&H venture aligns with Pine Walk’s strategy to diversify its portfolio. This move follows the recent introduction of Sevanta Specialty Liability Limited, their inaugural casualty MGA, which focuses on niche international specialty liability, offering coverage on both a primary and excess basis.
Since its establishment in 2017, Pine Walk has developed a reputation with its 12 MGAs. The upcoming launch of this thirteenth MGA marks a significant milestone in its growth trajectory, as it continues to broaden its footprint in the insurance industry.
