Discover Luke Proctor’s new role leading Aon’s Reinsurance Analytics in the UK and Bermuda, driving innovation and expertise in the industry.
In a strategic move to bolster its analytical capabilities, global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has promoted Luke Proctor to the position of Head of Reinsurance Analytics for the UK and Bermuda. “Analytics is fundamental to how we understand risk here at Aon,” stated a company spokesperson. “Luke will be leading the strategic direction of Reinsurance analytics capabilities in the UK and Bermuda to help you make better business decisions,” they added.
Proctor’s journey with Aon began over 15 years ago when he joined the company in 2009 as an Analyst for Aon Benfield Securities, which was a branch of Aon that concluded operations in 2018. Demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication, he was soon promoted to the role of Actuary, where he took charge of reinsurance analysis concerning UK motor and property business, as well as serving as the lead actuary for Israel and the MENA regions.
In 2015, Proctor’s expertise earned him the title of Head of Actuarial, where he managed a growing team of actuaries focused on UK domestic motor and property, alongside the London Market and International Specialty Casualty reinsurance. Progressing further, he became a Reinsurance Broker, specializing in complex and technical long tail/specialty casualty clients, before ascending to his most recent role as Head of Long Tail Analytics in 2024.
