The Lexar TouchLock SSD redefines portable data protection by combining NFC-based authentication with 128-bit AES hardware encryption. Available in 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB variants, Lexar’s latest storage device ensures data remains secure even when it’s disconnected from your mobile device. Once paired with a smartphone, the SSD unlocks instantly through an NFC tap, then automatically re-locks once the connection ends—an intelligent defense against unauthorized access.
The TouchLock SSD is powered by Lexar’s in-house developed controller and premium TLC NAND flash memory. It achieves up to 450 MB/s read and 420 MB/s write speeds through the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface. The drive is universally compatible, working seamlessly with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS systems.
Included with each unit are a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and a metal ring for magnetic attachment, making it easy to use across different devices. The Lexar mobile app simplifies security management—letting users configure NFC access, set passwords, and back up smartphone photos automatically.
Weighing only 40 grams and measuring just 85.6 × 53 × 7 mm, the Lexar TouchLock SSD fits comfortably in your pocket while still being durable enough to handle drops of up to 2 meters. The built-in MagSafe support means it can attach directly to compatible iPhones for quick data transfer.
Operating between 0°C and 50°C, and with storage tolerance from -40°C to 85°C, this device is built to perform reliably in different environments—making it an ideal companion for both work and travel.
The Lexar TouchLock (SL280) is currently available in China. Pricing starts at 499 yuan (approx. $70) for the 512GB model and 899 yuan (approx. $126) for the 1TB version. The price for the 2TB model will be announced soon.
