Gallagher has strategically appointed Hunter Davis (pictured above left) as Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director of its Private Equity and M&A Practice. In this pivotal role, Davis will spearhead the property/casualty and employee benefits operations across the company’s U.S. brokerage teams. His primary focus will be on delivering comprehensive insurance and risk management solutions tailored for Gallagher’s private equity and corporate clients engaged in mergers and acquisitions.
Davis brings with him over two decades of experience in insurance brokerage and investment banking. He previously held the position of Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Head of M&A and Transaction Solutions at Aon. Based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Davis is an alumnus of the University of Kansas, holding a bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration.
In an earlier development this year, Gallagher expanded its construction casualty practice by appointing Gabriella Bradley as the head of the division.
Preferred Employers Insurance, part of the Berkley company, has appointed Steve Feemster (pictured above, right) as its new Sales and Distribution Manager for Southern California. Feemster, with over 30 years of underwriting and insurance sales experience, will focus on broker engagement in San Diego and surrounding counties, returning to a familiar market.
Feemster has spent the past decade working on the general agency side of Preferred’s business, offering him deep insights into the company’s offerings and market strategies. In his new role, he is set to bolster the company’s workers’ compensation insurance distribution and enhance its regional influence.
Preferred’s previous significant appointment was in July of the previous year when Stephanie Graham was named Vice President of Claims.
