The Panther Lake processors are set to feature Cougar Cove architecture for performance cores (P-Cores) and Darkmont architecture for efficiency cores (E-Cores). Originally, the Darkmont cores were slated for the Clearwater Forest Xeon series, but Intel has pivoted to introduce them in both desktop and mobile segments sooner than anticipated.
