Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Completes Acquisition of Imbs Holdings, Inc.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., a leading global insurance brokerage, has successfully acquired St. Louis-based Imbs Holdings, Inc., a prominent retail insurance broker serving a diverse clientele across the United States. The financial specifics of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Following the acquisition, Chris Imbs and his dedicated team will integrate with Gallagher’s South Central retail property/casualty brokerage operations. They will report directly to regional leader Bret VanderVoort.

This strategic move in the U.S. is complemented by Gallagher’s ongoing international expansion, as evidenced by their recent acquisition of Australia-based Tresidder Insurance Brokers. This firm operates in Victoria and Queensland, offering property and casualty services for both commercial and personal lines clients. Tresidder specializes in sectors such as manufacturing, food and beverage, biotech, and agriculture.
