Honor has unveiled its latest smartphone series, aptly named Honor Power. This new series promises to set a new benchmark in the industry with its impressive 8,000 mAh battery that lives up to the ‘Power’ moniker, all while maintaining an extremely slim 8 mm thick body.
The Honor Power is equipped with a tablet-grade battery, outshining even the iPad Air 11 (2025) with its 29.60 Wh capacity. This is made possible by utilizing silicon carbon technology, achieving an energy density of 821 Wh/L. Honor claims the device can support 25 hours of video playback, 23 hours of TikTok browsing, over 23 hours of navigation, and 14 hours of intense gaming.
Under the hood, the Honor Power is driven by the powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and a maximum of 512 GB of internal storage. The phone boasts a stunning 6.78-inch display with a four-sided micro-curved OLED panel, offering a resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels, a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, and an incredible 4000 nits of peak brightness, along with a high-frequency 3840 Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50 MP main camera featuring OIS support, accompanied by a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Selfie aficionados can rely on the 16 MP front-facing camera nestled within a sleek pill-shaped cutout. The device supports BeiDou satellite messaging and is enhanced by the Honor C1+ RF chip for improved connectivity, claiming to offer 20% better positional accuracy thanks to triple-frequency BeiDou and dual-frequency GPS.
Pre-orders for the Honor Power have commenced in China, with a release date set for April 18. The pricing tiers are as follows: $270 for the 8/256 GB variant, $300 for the 12/256 GB model, and $340 for the 12/512 GB version.
