While the latest official entry, Fallout 76, launched in 2018, new whispers suggest that a fresh era for the series is on the horizon.
Recent reports indicate that Bethesda and Microsoft might be preparing something exciting for long-time fans. According to sources close to Windows Central, both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are getting remastered versions currently in development, bringing these beloved post-apocalyptic adventures into the modern gaming age.
The updated versions are said to follow a similar approach to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, enhancing visuals, optimizing controls, and preserving the core gameplay rather than rebuilding everything from scratch. In other words, players can anticipate a familiar experience, but with modernized graphics and smoother mechanics.
