In a significant development, China’s gold imports via Hong Kong witnessed a remarkable 41.9% increase in March compared to the previous month. Data from the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department reveals that the world’s largest gold consumer boosted its imports from 14,851 kilograms in February to an impressive 21,071 kilograms in March.
