This initiative was highlighted in a recent report by the news magazine, Spiegel.

The premium automaker, a division of the Volkswagen Group, is exploring several strategic options. Among these, the construction of a US-based plant stands out as the most costly alternative under consideration. Company insiders suggest that this investment could reach up to 4 billion euros ($4.61 billion).
