With a robust paid-up capital of AED 939 million, Salama stands as one of the most established entities in the regional insurance sector. Bouabane, who previously served as CEO of AIG GCC & North Africa, brings over two decades of comprehensive expertise in the insurance industry.
Bouabane’s illustrious career has seen him operate across diverse markets, including Canada, Dubai, and Hong Kong. He has successfully led strategic transformations, bolstered market positioning, and driven operational excellence across these regions. His proficiency in risk management, digital transformation, and market expansion will play a pivotal role in enhancing Salama’s leadership within the Middle East and Africa.
