Announced during the latest State of Play stream, Silent Hill f is all set to haunt gamers starting this September. Pre-orders kick off today, and enthusiasts can look forward to an exclusive panel at AnimeExpo on July 4, 2025.
After much anticipation, Silent Hill f revealed its mysteries with the Silent Hill Transmission in March. Set in the eerie rural landscapes of 1960s Japan, the game follows the story of Shimizu Hinako, a typical teenager whose life spirals into a nightmare as her town undergoes terrifying transformations. Players will navigate this chilling world, making crucial decisions that culminate in a gripping finale.
With a haunting score by Akira Yamaoka, Silent Hill f will launch on September 25, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The game is now available for pre-order with the standard edition priced at $2,799 on the PlayStation store, and the digital Deluxe edition at $3,149, which includes a digital art book, soundtrack, and a pink bunny costume, alongside two days of early access. Steam users can purchase these editions for $36.99 and $41.99 respectively.
Pre-ordering the game will also grant players a white sailor school uniform, Omamori: Peony, and an item pack featuring shriveled Abura-age, holy water, and a first aid kit.
The recently released trailer, running for just over three minutes, showcases Shimizu’s interactions, the grotesque town setting, and the intense battles against nightmarish creatures. Notably, the game eschews ranged combat, focusing entirely on close-quarters skirmishes. The creature designs promise tense, adrenaline-pumping encounters.
