The upcoming Galaxy S26 series is expected to feature a regional distinction between processors. It’s rumored that the European variants will be powered by the Exynos 2600, while the rest of the world will experience the series with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. While this approach might raise eyebrows due to potential performance discrepancies, Samsung seems confident in its strategy.
According to industry insiders, the Exynos 2600 will be based on cutting-edge 2 nm architecture, though it will be limited to Europe due to production constraints. Conversely, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will cater to other regions, ensuring robust performance. However, it’s noteworthy that this distinction will apply only to the S26 and S26+ models. The S26 Ultra is anticipated to be equipped with the Snapdragon processor globally, consistent with the strategy for the S24 Ultra.
