Pro Global boosts its German presence with key strategic appointments, enhancing operations and driving growth.
Pro Global, a prominent advisor within the specialist insurance sector, has unveiled two pivotal appointments: Roman Hannig as Head of Client Engagement, Germany, and Oliver Schippa as Head of Product, Germany. These strategic hires underscore Pro Global’s ongoing dedication to expanding its footprint and delivering exceptional client service in the German insurance market. Both executives will be stationed at the company’s Cologne office.
In his new capacity, Hannig is tasked with fortifying and expanding relationships with Pro Global’s re/insurance clientele across Germany, with a particular emphasis on managing intricate employee disability claims. A seasoned lawyer and expert in complex claims, Hannig transitions to Pro Global from Gen Re Corp, where he dedicated 13 years, most recently as a Claims Executive.
Schippa, on the other hand, will enhance Pro Global’s prowess in product development and optimization, leveraging his extensive expertise in technology, data analysis, insurance product innovation, underwriting, and risk management. He joins from Proventum, where he held the role of Sales & Business Development Manager. His background includes a tenure as Senior Business Developer at adesso insurance solutions GmbH and nearly 16 years at HDI Group.
