Following the highly anticipated release of the RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070, Nvidia is now setting the stage for the debut of its new graphics cards, the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti. Initial leaks have teased us with details on the specifications and pricing, and now these models have made appearances on various testing platforms. The RTX 5060 Ti recently surfaced in FurMark testing, as shared through social media channels. The device ID “10DE-2D04” seen in these tests correlates with the GB206 GPU, which aligns with previous leaks. It is highly probable that this GPU will power the RTX 5060 Ti.
According to the test results, the RTX 5060 Ti achieved a score of 10,242 points in the FurMark benchmark, reaching a peak temperature of 69°C. For context, the RTX 4070 scored around 12,000 points, while the RTX 4060 Ti averaged between 8,000 and 9,000 points. The significant advancements in the RTX 5060 Ti are attributed to its integration of GDDR7 memory and DLSS 4.0 technology.
The RTX 5060 Ti is anticipated to be offered in both 8 GB and 16 GB configurations of GDDR7 memory, operating on a 128-bit memory bus. The next-generation GDDR7 memory, clocked at 28 Gbps, will provide a bandwidth of 448 GB/s, marking an impressive 55% increase over its predecessor, the RTX 4060 Ti.
The clock speeds are expected to have a base of 2407 MHz and a boost of 2572 MHz, with the GPU featuring 4608 CUDA cores. In terms of pricing, Nvidia is not anticipated to make significant deviations. Leaks suggest that the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB variant will be priced at $399, while the 16GB version will be available for $499. The price of the RTX 5060 has yet to be disclosed.
The official release of the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti models is slated for April 16, with the 5060 series expected to be unveiled at 21:00 Turkey time. Previously confirmed are the two distinct versions featuring 16GB and 8GB of GDDR7 memory.
