Exciting New DLSS Enhancements from Nvidia

Nvidia has been at the forefront of gaming technology, and they continue to push the boundaries with their DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology. Recently, they have announced an expansion in the support for DLSS, bringing the total to an impressive 769 games and applications. This week, several new games have been added to the list of titles that benefit from DLSS support.

DLSS 4.0: A Leap Forward in AI-Powered Gaming

DLSS is a revolutionary technology that leverages artificial intelligence to upscale lower-resolution frames, providing players with higher-quality visuals without compromising performance. The latest iteration, DLSS 4.0, introduces Multi Frame Generation. This innovative feature enables GPUs to generate additional frames with minimal resource consumption, leading to enhanced performance and reduced VRAM usage.

Exciting New DLSS Enhancements from Nvidia

According to Nvidia’s announcement, DLSS 4.0 is now available in a new game title this week, with plans to update the roster of supported games in the near future. Below is a list of games that have recently gained DLSS and DLSS 4.0 support:

  • Steel Seed: DLSS 4.0
  • The Talos Principle: Reawakened: DLSS 3.0
  • RuneScape: Dragonwilds: DLSS 3.0
  • Tempest Rising: DLSS
  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: DLSS
  • Commandos: Origins: DLSS

Nvidia’s continuous innovation doesn’t stop there. Alongside the launch of the RTX 50 series graphics cards, DLSS 4.0 was introduced. While this new version is compatible with RTX 40-series GPUs, it does not include the multi-frame rendering feature. Yet, Nvidia has upgraded the frame rendering process for these GPUs, ensuring a small FPS boost, reduced VRAM usage, and decreased latency, keeping gamers at the edge of their seats.
