Neuralink is actively seeking volunteers, particularly those suffering from tetraplegia, a condition characterized by paralysis affecting a significant portion of the body, including both the arms and legs. The primary goal of this cutting-edge chip technology is to empower patients to interact with digital devices using only their thoughts.
Since the spring of 2025, Neuralink has successfully implanted its brain chip in three individuals. The first successful implantation was completed earlier this year, marking a significant milestone for the company. Neuralink has ambitious plans to extend the availability of this chip to hundreds, if not thousands, of patients in the near future.
