Bessire’s Background and Role: With a remarkable track record at Coterie Insurance as their Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Officer, Paul Bessire is an acclaimed figure in data science and AI innovations within the insurance sector. His proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and spearheading digital transformations will significantly bolster MGT’s capabilities in AI-enhanced risk assessment and dynamic pricing strategies.
Johnson’s Experience and Contributions: To complement the technical advancements, MGT is expanding its market footprint through the expertise of Jason Johnson. Known for his excellence in process automation, workflow enhancements, and fostering agent engagement, Johnson formerly served as VP of Agency Success at Rainbow Insurance and VP of Agent Experience at Coterie Insurance. At Coterie, he played a pivotal role in scaling agent engagement from hundreds to a robust network of over 30,000 agents nationwide.

These strategic hires follow several key appointments at MGT Insurance. Earlier this year, the company launched MGT Specialty, its excess and surplus (E&S) division, under the leadership of Chad Nitschke. In March, MGT further strengthened its team by welcoming Joe Barneson as Head of Engineering and Eric Bloedorn as Head of Data & Technical Product.
