Drone Strike in Beit Lif
According to reports from Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), the Israeli military launched a drone strike targeting the town of Beit Lif, located in Bint Jbeil within the Nabatiya Governorate in southern Lebanon.
Casualties and Damages
The attack involved two missiles, resulting in injuries to three individuals, one of whom is in critical condition. The incident occurred near the sensitive border area between Israel and Lebanon.
Response from Israel
As of now, the Israeli Defense Forces have not issued any official statement regarding the strike.
Ceasefire Violations
Despite a ceasefire agreement established on November 27, 2024, there have been numerous reported breaches. The Israeli military continues to conduct operations within Lebanese territory, maintaining a presence in at least five strategic locations along the border, contrary to withdrawal terms outlined in the ceasefire.
Continued Conflict
The ongoing air and ground assaults by Israel have caused significant destruction in towns along the border. In addition to direct attacks, Israel continues to deploy drones to target vehicles and key sites in southern Lebanon, perpetuating tensions months after the ceasefire was supposed to take effect.
