Israeli forces launch several raids across the West Bank, detaining suspects amid rising regional tensions and security operations.
According to reports from the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli forces launched several overnight operations across the occupied West Bank, resulting in the detention of multiple Palestinians. Four individuals were apprehended during a raid in the city of Kalkilya.
In a separate incident, troops entered the village of Kefr Rai, located south of Jenin, where they interrogated four residents in an open area. Later, two more Palestinians were detained following home searches in the Asker al-Kadim Refugee Camp near Nablus.
The wave of arrests continued as Israeli forces detained three people from Beit Emr in Hebron and two others from the Bethlehem district. These operations mark yet another escalation in the intensifying campaign throughout the region.
Since October 7, 2023, when Israel began its military campaign in the Gaza Strip, there has been a notable surge in arrests, armed incursions, and security operations across the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Residents report increasing pressure and frequent confrontations with military personnel.
