Hymans Robertson is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Wellard as the head of its Alternative Risk Transfer Solutions division. In his new capacity, Wellard will steer the team in guiding trustees and sponsors through the evolving landscape of risk transfer options, including superfunds, capital-backed solutions, and innovative insurance products.
Richard Wellard has been a valued partner at Hymans Robertson since 2015, playing a pivotal role in pioneering some of the most groundbreaking transactions within this domain. Prior to joining Hymans Robertson, he honed his actuarial expertise at Aon Hewitt and began his professional journey as an actuarial trainee at Atkin & Co in 2002.
