Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone Completes Stardew Valley’s 1.6 Update
Eric Barone, widely known as ConcernedApe, has been diligently working on the much-anticipated 1.6 update for Stardew Valley. With the completion of this update, Barone, who has been the driving force behind the game’s continuous success, is finally ready to dedicate his time to a new project.
Transition to Haunted Chocolatier
During a recent exclusive interview with the team at PCGamer, Barone revealed that Stardew Valley has now reached a point of satisfaction for him. Previously, he had mentioned his commitment to developing Stardew Valley indefinitely, but his priorities are now shifting towards his new venture, Haunted Chocolatier.
Barone stated: “We’re almost done with update 1.6, including the console ports and any necessary bug fixes. My focus will not return to Stardew Valley until I complete Haunted Chocolatier. The game is now at a stage where I feel proud of it. In 2025, if anyone purchases Stardew Valley, they’ll be investing in something I’m truly proud of. I’m confident they will love this game.”
