Known for its digital PC game store, Epic Games has recently made a strategic expansion into the mobile gaming market. Following ongoing legal debates with tech giants Apple and Google over app management since last year, Epic Games announced in March 2024 that they would launch a standalone application. This application, released in August, has begun offering free games, adding a new dimension to Epic’s offerings.
Initially, the free games were offered on a monthly basis, but this has now shifted to a weekly schedule. This week’s highlight is Botanicula, available for free until Thursday, April 24, 2025.
