EcoFlow’s Innovative Stream Series: A New Era in Balcony Solar Systems

Discover EcoFlow’s Stream Series, revolutionizing balcony solar systems with cutting-edge innovation. Embrace a new era of sustainable energy.

Discover EcoFlow's Stream Series, revolutionizing balcony solar systems with cutting-edge

US-based EcoFlow, renowned for its cutting-edge advancements in energy technology, has officially launched the Stream series, marking the second generation of balcony solar systems. For those who previously regarded compact solar systems as merely “an added convenience,” EcoFlow’s latest Stream series is poised to reshape that viewpoint. This next-generation balcony solar system is crafted to not only power small-scale appliances but also offers an integrated, AI-driven solution capable of ensuring continuous energy supply for high-demand devices.

Plug-and-Play Simplicity

The standout feature of this system is its plug-and-play nature, allowing even those without technical expertise to set up the system effortlessly. Wall installation involves no intricate wiring or specialized installation procedures. With its 40 percent more compact design compared to its predecessor, the PowerStream series, it easily fits on balconies, in apartments, or in homes with limited storage capacity.

Plug-and-Play Simplicity

A remarkable innovation in the Stream series is the in-home battery network. These strategically placed batteries communicate automatically, optimizing energy flow efficiently. For instance, if the battery in your living room depletes, another battery in the kitchen seamlessly takes over, ensuring uninterrupted operation of high-energy-demand appliances without manual intervention. EcoFlow highlights that this automatic energy sharing system significantly reduces costly electricity purchases from the grid and enhances energy independence at home.

Compatibility and Power

The Stream series isn’t confined to EcoFlow products alone; it’s also compatible with third-party microinverters, enabling users to leverage existing hardware. Most models in the Stream series provide a dual-mode AC output of 2,300W, empowering solar energy to power not just lights or laptops but also high-consumption devices like refrigerators, washing machines, or air conditioners. Some models feature a 2,800W dual-mode PV input, allowing energy collection from diverse solar panel groups simultaneously, accommodating panels facing various directions, different panel types, or large surface areas.

AI-Powered Home Energy Management

A distinguishing feature of the Stream series is its artificial intelligence-based battery coordination. This technology ensures that scattered batteries in the kitchen or living room of the same household synchronize with solar panels on balconies. Managed through EcoFlow’s mobile app, the system analyzes not only energy production but also electricity prices and consumption patterns. If nighttime electricity tariffs are more economical, the system automatically charges the batteries during those hours, prioritizing battery use during costly daytime hours without relying on the grid. According to EcoFlow, the app’s solar power generation forecast accuracy is around 94 percent, enabling users to efficiently adjust their daily activities, such as operating dishwashers or washing machines.

EcoFlow’s new lineup comprises four distinct system options: Stream Ultra (1.92 kWh), Stream Pro (1.92 kWh), Stream Ultra X (3.84 kWh), and Stream AC Pro (1.92 kWh). All models incorporate lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, with EcoFlow asserting that the batteries retain at least 70 percent of their capacity even after 6,000 cycles. The system boasts technical features such as IP65 water resistance for outdoor use, operability down to -20°C, and graphene channel passive cooling.
