President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a heartfelt condolence message on his social media account, expressing deep sorrow over the passing of Mr. Ferdi Zeyrek, the Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality. He stated, “I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Mr. Ferdi Zeyrek due to a tragic accident. May God grant mercy to the late Zeyrek, and I extend my condolences to his family, his colleagues, our citizens of Manisa, and the entire CHP organization.”
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli also conveyed his condolences, stating, “I have sadly learned that Mr. Ferdi Zeyrek, the Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, succumbed to his injuries while under hospital care following an unfortunate accident at his home. I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and the Republican People’s Party community, wishing them strength and patience. May his place be in heaven, and his soul rest in peace.”
IYI Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu took to social media to share his sorrow, writing, “It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Ferdi Zeyrek, the Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, who had been in intensive care for three days following an accident. I wish God’s mercy upon our dear brother Ferdi Mayor, patience to his grieving family, and extend condolences to the entire Republican People’s Party community, especially Özgür Özel, and the people of Manisa. May he rest in peace, and may his place be in heaven.”
AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik also issued a condolence message for Zeyrek. In a social media post, Çelik expressed, “We mourn the loss of Ferdi Zeyrek, Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality. We wish him God’s mercy and extend our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones, especially his cherished family, the CHP community, our political sphere, and all our citizens.”
