iPhone 6s Becomes a Vintage Product
The iPhone 6s, launched in 2015, remained a consumer favorite until Apple discontinued its sale in 2018. Recently, Apple has added this iconic model to its vintage product list, succeeding the iPhone 6s Plus. This status marks a device that has not been manufactured for more than five years but less than seven years.
Innovative Features and Legacy
As the first Apple smartphone to introduce 3D Touch, the iPhone 6s set a new standard for user interaction. Notably, it was the last flagship iPhone to offer a traditional headphone jack, a feature removed in the subsequent iPhone 7 model. In response to the ‘bendgate’ controversy from the previous generation, Apple reinforced the iPhone 6s with a more robust aluminum frame, enhancing its durability.
