Xiaomi Unveils the Innovative Dual-Drum Washing and Drying Machine
Xiaomi has introduced a groundbreaking dual-drum washing and drying machine, offering a substantial washing capacity of 10 kg. The Mijia Dual-Zone Washer Pro is designed with a large 10 kg main drum for standard laundry and a smaller drum specifically for delicate items like underwear and sportswear.
Key Features of the Xiaomi Mijia Dual-Zone Washer Pro
This advanced washing machine is equipped with the Blue Oxygen Care Wash system, which utilizes active oxygen to delve deep into fabric fibers, effectively eliminating yellowing and stains while minimizing color migration in mixed laundry loads. Additionally, it incorporates steam sterilization, capable of eradicating 99.99% of bacteria and viruses, including H1N1 and HPV-16.
A standout feature is its three-way automatic detergent dosing system, which allows for the precise and automatic adjustment of detergent, fabric softener, and delicate garment cleaners based on fabric type and load size. Operating on Xiaomi’s HyperOS platform, this machine boasts AI-supported load detection, environmental condition sensing, and automatic selection of optimal washing programs tailored to the weather.
With separate water inlets and independent drainage systems, the machine ensures that dirt from the two drums remains separate. It also includes a direct-drive inverter motor to minimize noise and vibration, paired with a dual suspension system and an algorithm that identifies unbalanced loads for automatic correction.
Additional features include a rapid 12-minute quick wash, high-pressure pet hair removal, and an Intelligent Fresh Air mode that activates automatically if clothes are left idle after the cycle completes. The machine supports XiaoAI voice commands, OTA updates, and AloT smart home connectivity.
Set to be available in China starting May 13th, the Xiaomi Mijia Dual-Zone Washer Pro is priced at $760, with a potential reduction to $608 thanks to government incentives.
