League of Legends, a cornerstone in the realm of MOBA games, continues to captivate players globally with its evolving roster of champions and updates. Recently, a rumor has emerged that could revolutionize gameplay. If substantiated, the game might soon support WASD controls. What Could WASD Controls Mean for League of Legends?
Traditionally, players navigate their champions using the mouse, while abilities are activated with the Q, W, E, and R keys. The rumored WASD support suggests that players could potentially maneuver their characters using these keys, offering an alternative to mouse navigation. However, this feature wouldn’t eliminate mouse control, but rather provide an additional option, enabling players to choose between mouse or keyboard control for steering.
Intriguingly, screenshots purportedly showcasing this feature have surfaced, adding fuel to the speculation. Despite these leaks, Riot Games has not officially confirmed the development, so it remains speculative. Yet, the saying goes, ‘there’s no smoke without fire,’ and we eagerly anticipate any official announcements. We will continue to monitor this story closely.

The broadcast will feature museums worldwide, showcasing legendary ships such as the USS Intrepid, the USS Wisconsin, and the USS Cod, each narrating the transformation and adaptation of warship roles during the war.
To mark the fifth anniversary, the event will include a special collaboration with the popular YouTube channel, History Hit. Renowned historian Dan Snow will engage in a captivating debate against artificial intelligence, focusing on ship evolutions.
“At History Hit, we’ve long been admirers of World of Warships’ Longest Night of Museums,” said Dan Snow. “Having previously collaborated with World of Warships, we’re excited to highlight the museums dedicated to preserving the legacy of these iconic ships. Introducing the Award-Winning Maritime Museums Atlas
A notable launch at this year’s event is the Maritime Museum Atlas, an innovative digital platform for gamers and history enthusiasts to explore maritime museums globally. Featuring an interactive map with eight maritime museums and historical institutions worldwide, the Atlas provides practical information to facilitate real-world visits and highlights institutions dedicated to preserving maritime heritage. As the database expands, World of Warships’ Captain’s Club members will enjoy special museum benefits and exclusive in-game bonus codes at participating venues.
World of Warships Commemorates Operation Dynamo and Introduces New Challenges
To honor the 85th anniversary of the Dunkirk evacuation, World of Warships introduces Operation Dynamo with a comprehensive Event Card. Players can unlock various rewards, including Boxes, the “Colorless” Enemy Destruction Effect, permanent camouflage, and more across two development lines.
A strategic event also debuts as a limited-time Port activity, where players, using cards representing the Tiny Ships of Dunkirk, will tackle challenges and opponents. Successful players will earn Operation Dynamo Boxes, a special “Bravery Against Fire Flag”, and a Tier VI British Gallant destroyer.
May brings new high-seas challenges with the limited-time game mode, Dangerous Route. In this mode, players escort a damaged Command Carrier through perilous waters, facing deadly enemy ships. The carrier requires two stops for repairs, and players must complete random assignments to continue their journey. Using any Tier VIII-IX ship, except submarines, players aim to ensure the carrier’s safe arrival.
The May update concludes with a cross-content feature as the popular side-scrolling naval combat game Azur Lane returns with 7 Waves, offering new content. As a grand finale, Soviet Submarines exit Early Access while construction of the Tier IX German Premium heavy cruiser Blücher 1939 progresses in the Shipyard. Additionally, players can engage in new Ranked Battles and Fights.
In a recent interview with EA Motive studio, the creative minds behind the upcoming Battlefield 6 revealed their sources of inspiration for the game’s story. The plot is significantly influenced by a television series and a film, both released in 2023, which set the stage for the narrative direction of the new title.
Battlefield 6: A Fusion of Civil Conflict and Tactical Operations
This interview, conducted by Inverse, featured insights from creative director Roman Campbos-Oriola and senior director Philippe Ducharme. Campbos-Oriola shared his admiration for the series Special Ops: Lioness, while Ducharme expressed his appreciation for the film Civil War. These works serve as pivotal influences for the storyline of Battlefield 6.
Special Ops: Lioness paints a gripping narrative of an all-female team operating in the Middle East, offering a unique perspective on warfare. On the other hand, Civil War, directed by Alex Garland, explores the American secession crisis through the eyes of a group of journalists, presenting a multifaceted view of conflict.
Campbos-Oriola emphasized their interest in portraying ordinary yet skilled individuals thrust into extraordinary circumstances, creating compelling interpersonal dynamics. This aspect is something they aim to encapsulate in the single-player experience of the game.
Ducharme noted that Civil War serves as a valuable reference for certain thematic elements they intend to integrate into the game. As development progresses, fans can anticipate elements reminiscent of Civil War and Special Ops: Lioness within Battlefield 6. More revelations are expected as promotional content and trailers are released.
