Vivo has introduced two new tablets to its collection, catering to different user needs. The affordable Pad SE targets students and those seeking basic functionality, while the high-performance Pad 5 Pro is designed for demanding tasks.
The Pad SE features a 12.3-inch display with a crisp 2.5K resolution. A standout variant, known as the “Soft Light” edition, minimizes eye strain with its nano surface coating to reduce reflections. Both versions include a low blue light filter, automatic color temperature adjustments based on ambient light, and a brightness control suitable for low-light environments.
Under the hood, the Pad SE is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, delivering satisfactory performance for daily tasks, video streaming, and light applications. It boasts up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, supported by a four-speaker audio system and a robust 8,500 mAh battery. Additionally, it features an AI-driven “Learning Center” app tailored for students. The Pad SE is offered in blue and dark gray, with prices ranging from $140 to $250.
The Pad 5 Pro, aimed at users with higher expectations, sports a stunning 13-inch 3.1K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This screen shines with HDR10 support and superior color accuracy, reaching a brightness of up to 1200 nits. It is equipped with over ten eye protection technologies to ensure visual comfort.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, the Pad 5 Pro excels in gaming performance. In a specialized performance mode, it can achieve high resolution and 120FPS in open-world games, thanks to its extensive heat dissipation capabilities. The tablet operates on the OriginOS 5 HD system, featuring multi-window support and a universal clipboard for enhanced productivity. Vivo’s smart assistant, Xiao V, is also included, assisting users in tasks like document creation and presentation preparation.
The Pad 5 Pro is priced from $355 to $475, with the Wi-Fi only 512 GB version available for approximately $445. Accessories such as the stylus pen and smart keyboard are priced at $70 and $100, respectively.
