Unico Sigorta Hosts California Asian Insurance and Financial Professional Association in Istanbul
Unico Sigorta recently had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the California Asian Insurance and Financial Professional Association (CAIFPA) at their headquarters in Istanbul. The meeting provided a platform for discussing the latest developments in the insurance industry and facilitated an international exchange of expertise and insights.
The CAIFPA contingent, comprising over 30 seasoned professionals from the insurance and finance sectors, visited to engage in dialogue about the evolving insurance landscape in the United States and share cross-sectoral knowledge. During the event’s opening remarks, Derek Ng, President of CAIFPA, stated: “Our organization was established in 1986 in California with the aim of uniting professionals from the insurance and finance industries. Our enduring mission is to bolster industry cohesion, enhance information exchange, and support professional growth. Today, we continue to pursue this mission by connecting experts worldwide.”
Following these remarks, Ender Güzeler, CEO of Unico Sigorta, provided an insightful presentation on the Turkish insurance market and highlighted Unico Sigorta’s strategic positioning within the sector. The gathering saw a keen interest in topics such as the anticipated Istanbul earthquake and the role of natural disaster insurance in Turkey.
