The slash, also referred to as the forward slash, is a symbolic character used for separating letters, numbers, or words. How to Type the Slash on a Keyboard

To type the forward slash on a keyboard, you can typically press Shift + 7. On standard Macbook and Windows PC keyboards, this combination will yield the slash character. Some keyboards place the slash at the top of the numeric keypad, while on others, especially those configured for English QWERTY and F layout, it may be located in the bottom corners.
