An extensive operation has been conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), targeting multiple Russian air bases within the country’s borders. According to a reliable source speaking to Ukrainian media, the SBU has successfully attacked over 40 of these strategic locations, reportedly downing a Russian bomber in the process.
Strategic Bombers Targeted
In a statement from an SBU insider, it was revealed that, “The enemy’s strategic bombers are experiencing significant losses within Russia. This is a direct outcome of the SBU’s specialized operation. Currently, the Security Service of Ukraine is engaged in a comprehensive mission aimed at eliminating enemy bombers deep within Russian territory.”
Aircraft Losses Confirmed
The source further elaborated, “To date, reports indicate that over 40 aircraft have been neutralized, including models such as the A-50, Tu-95, and Tu-22 M3.” The source also noted that the SBU’s unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are being utilized to precisely target aircraft involved in bombings against Ukrainian cities.
