The Trabzonspor Under-19 Football Team, who proudly clinched the runner-up position in the UEFA Youth League, arrived back in their home city after a valiant effort against Barcelona, resulting in a 4-1 final score. The atmosphere was electric as the team was warmly greeted at Trabzon Airport by their jubilant families and passionate fans clad in the iconic bordo-blue colors.

Technical Director Eyüp Saka expressed his immense pride in the team’s achievements, stating, “We are very happy and extremely proud. Although we wished to return with the trophy, reaching this stage is a great accomplishment. We’re still very content with our journey.”

Meanwhile, Team Captain Salih Malkoçoğlu reflected on the team’s impressive journey to the finals, sharing, “Reaching the final itself was a remarkable success. Though the ending wasn’t as we hoped, the experience was incredible. I am thankful to all our supporters. Being part of this team has been the most rewarding experience.
