Telegram has unveiled an exciting update designed to elevate the messaging experience for its users. This latest rollout introduces one-on-one interactions with channel admins and a revamped design for easier navigation within group chats.
Users now have the capability to send direct messages to channel administrators, facilitating private conversations with creators while ensuring privacy. In an interesting twist, administrators have the option to set a fee for these private interactions.
The update introduces a streamlined tabbed structure for group chats, making it effortless to switch between different topics. Users can customize their chat interface by selecting either a sleek bar at the top of the chat screen or a comprehensive panel on the side, accessible via the group settings menu.
Significant enhancements have been made to voice messaging. Users can now lock a voice message by swiping upwards during recording and have the ability to trim the start or end of the message. Additionally, new audio segments can be seamlessly added by tapping the microphone icon again while recording.
Photo sharing quality has been upgraded with a new “High Resolution” option, allowing users to send images with four times more pixels while maintaining a file size under 0.5 MB. iOS users benefit from the new capability to send media from other apps directly to Telegram stories.
The poll feature has been enhanced, allowing up to 12 options per poll. These polls can also be conveniently saved in the “Saved Messages” section for future reference.
These enhancements reflect Telegram’s ongoing commitment to improving user-friendliness and delivering an enriched messaging experience.
