Focus Entertainment has unveiled new and thrilling information about the Space Marine 2 Horde mode, promising players an intense and challenging experience. This eagerly awaited addition is set to arrive with the eighth update.

Horde Mode Arriving with the Eighth Update

In the content roadmap for Space Marine 2 released back in August 2024, it was mentioned that a Horde Mode would become available in the final season of 2025. Fans have been eager to learn how this free update would enhance their gameplay experience.

According to the latest community update from Focus Entertainment, this PvE mode will be introduced with the upcoming eighth update. Players will face off against Chaos and Tyranid foes, striving to withstand escalating challenges. The mode allows for solo play with AI allies or teaming up with friends, with the goal of surviving relentless waves of enemies. Each wave will increase in difficulty, demanding varied strategies and tight-knit teamwork.

Excitingly, players will be able to track their progress in Horde mode. The first day of the mode’s release will feature the Kadaku map, known for its dark atmosphere and confined battlefields. Success in the later waves will hinge on effectively utilizing environmental advantages and strategic positioning based on chosen class roles.

Additional Features with the Eighth Update

The eighth update will also introduce balance adjustments for Absolute difficulty, along with a new enemy type and weapon. Season Pass holders can look forward to new episodes, two new Champion Packs, Cosmetic Packs, and Weapon Skin Packs, enriching their in-game experience further.
