Unveiling the New Chapter: Throes Of The Watchmaker

In 2023, Sea of Stars captivated players worldwide, earning the title of the best indie game of the year at The Game Awards. Now, it is set to expand its universe with the eagerly anticipated Throes Of The Watchmaker DLC. Developer Sabotage Studio has officially announced that this exciting new adventure will launch on May 20, 2025.

Throes Of The Watchmaker promises to deliver an additional 8 hours of immersive gameplay. Players who own Sea of Stars on any platform will be able to download the DLC and embark on a side adventure featuring the sibling solstice warriors, Valere and Zale.

Set in the mystical land of Horloge, this new narrative challenges our heroes with an evil carnival that threatens its innocent inhabitants. The accompanying trailer hints at the intriguing twist of Valere and Zale facing malevolent versions of themselves as they strive to end Horloge’s sinister festivities.

The DLC introduces notable enhancements, including new classes for Valere and Zale and the debut of a brand new playable character, Arty. Adding to the excitement, Throes of the Watchmaker supports three-player co-op, both locally and online. This feature builds on the last major update, which revamped the game’s challenges to accommodate cooperative gameplay.
