Resident Evil 9 Officially Announced

Capcom has finally lifted the veil on the much-anticipated Resident Evil 9, officially titled Resident Evil Requiem. The game is set to launch on February 27, 2026, and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The Resident Evil series has a storied history, with the last installment, Resident Evil Village, launching in 2021 as the eighth entry in the iconic franchise. It all began with the original Resident Evil, created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara for the PlayStation in 1996. Over the years, the franchise has expanded beyond games, inspiring TV adaptations and a multitude of sequels.
