Referans Sigorta: A New Era in Insurance with Strategic Growth

Following our recent general assembly meeting, we have further bolstered our capital by an additional 1 billion liras. Originally known as Generali Sigorta, Turkey’s oldest insurance company, Kiler Holding has revitalized the company under the name Referans Sigorta. The company, initially valued at 265 million liras at the end of 2024, has now seen its equity capital skyrocket to 1.2 billion liras, thanks to robust financial backing from Kiler Holding and strategic market growth plans. With aspirations to rank among Turkey’s top 10 insurance companies within three years, Referans Sigorta has secured a traffic insurance license to strengthen its presence, especially through agency distribution channels.
Referans Sigorta is now geared to offer more comprehensive services to both agencies and clients, thanks to its new traffic insurance capabilities. Ümit Kiler emphasized the company’s commitment to becoming the “Reference Point” in the insurance sector, stating, “Our target for the end of 2026 is to elevate our equity capital to 4 billion liras. To assertively position ourselves within the insurance market, we will increase our capital as needed and seize any opportunities that arise. We aim to advance with determination rooted in our foundational strengths.”
Oğuz Karahançer reiterated, “Our determination to be an influential player in all insurance branches is unwavering. Our initial foray into traffic insurance production marks the beginning.
