Nvidia is expanding the reach of its latest DLSS 4.0 technology, introducing it to a new set of eight games this week. Multi Frame Generation, a feature that debuted with DLSS 4.0, is now available in these additional titles.
For those unfamiliar, DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is a groundbreaking technology that utilizes artificial intelligence to upscale low-resolution frames to higher quality, thereby enhancing visual fidelity without sacrificing performance. DLSS 4.0 introduces Multi Frame Generation, allowing the GPU to create more frames while utilizing fewer resources. This not only boosts overall performance but also reduces VRAM usage significantly.
According to Nvidia’s latest announcement, DLSS 4.0 will be integrated into eight more games this week, with plans to expand this list in the near future. Here are the new titles now supporting DLSS 4.0:
Nvidia introduced DLSS 4.0 alongside the RTX 50 series graphics cards. Although the RTX 40-series GPUs will support DLSS 4.0, they won’t benefit from the multi-frame rendering feature. Nevertheless, Nvidia has enhanced the frame rendering process for the RTX 40-series, similar to the advancements made for the RTX 50-series. This new DLSS version delivers a modest FPS boost, reduced VRAM consumption, and decreased latency, enhancing the gaming experience further.
