MAPFRE Sigorta Human Resources Director and Executive Board Member Elif Özgür emphasized the centrality of employee satisfaction, growth, and loyalty in the company’s employer brand ethos. “We thrive and achieve success stories by cultivating a work environment where every moment gains significance,” she remarked.

Özgür highlighted the increasing importance of talent acquisition and employee retention in today’s corporate landscape, framing it as a sustainable journey and a responsibility for MAPFRE Sigorta. In an interview with Sigorta Dünyası, she reiterated that the company’s employer brand is deeply rooted in fostering employee happiness, development, and allegiance. “Our growth is a shared journey, and together we are writing success stories, creating a workplace where every moment is meaningful,” she added.

Diversity and Inclusion

Focusing on three core areas, Özgür first underscored efficiency by stating that the company is continually refining its organizational structure and business processes. This includes enhancing the employee experience through digital innovations and hybrid work models. The second focus, employee development, involves offering a wide-ranging training network that spans technical skills to leadership competencies. Lastly, Özgür emphasized the corporate culture, noting that by fostering an environment rooted in diversity and inclusivity, the organization ensures every individual feels valued and has a sense of belonging.

Özgür also pointed out the significance of holistic well-being in MAPFRE Sigorta’s HR practices, introducing various initiatives under the themes of health, protection, growth, and motivation.

“Grow with Us” Internship Programme

Discussing their “Grow with Us” internship initiative aimed at attracting young talents, Özgür explained that the program provides students with real-world work experiences through campus visits, course participation, and summits. During the “Meet the CEO Day” event, interns had the opportunity to engage with MAPFRE Sigorta’s General Manager Erdinç Yurtseven, discussing career planning and exchanging ideas.

Özgür reiterated the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity principles in hiring processes.
